I always thought that I would trade in the car for a new toy, but I decided to sell the car to ensure that I will always have family time. No worries about fixing a car on the weekend and not spending time with my son. Already told the wife and she was shocked and was supportive of my decision. She even agreed to me buying a new toy in a few years after I buy that garage with a house attached. What do you guys think I should ask for the car? I am thinking 7k. Anyone know someone that would want a heavily modded GTP?

Wow Mojo, I never thought I'd see you sell your GP. I can't say that I know anyone interested in buying, but $7k seems a reasonable price. I'd hate to see another GP go

I couldn't imagine, that's got to be an awesome feeling. Yeah man, start higher and see what you get. With as little miles as there are on that engine/trans, I'd go for it.
On a side note, when you tuned your car, did you do a VE tune or just a MAF tune?

I got the car running with a maf tune then I did a VE tune. The VE tune did smooth a few things out, idle was a bitch. How is your tune coming?
I will probably list it at 8k neg on clubgp and wait a week. If that does not go well, then ebay it is

Yeah, that's probably the best way to go about it. Hopefully whoever buys it will appreciate it for what it is.
As far as the tune goes, I'm learning more and more every day. My trims are still out of control, and it needs a lot of work yet. OpenTuner 3800 has helped greatly, same with Eddy's Table Modifier. That site, along with that program have helped me learn a lot. I'll get back on it tomorrow, I was literally too exhausted from the weekend to get anything done today. All of this fuel is getting expensive too, haha.

I never liked those programs or that site, I always felt that excel tables where the way to go. To each his own I guess. The best thing that came from all those guys was Eddies table modifier that gave us access to about 350 tables. I idle is smooth as butter now because of the tables I have access too.

Much of this is a learning process for me, I've never had any experience tuning before. I've learned a lot this week alone and am enjoying myself reading up about stuff. This is an AWESOME science, it's so ridiculously interesting! I'm loving everything I've learned so far. It's funny, you really get to appreciate EFI so much more once you know the intricacies of it. I'm going to give open loop MAF tuning a shot. My fuel trims have seemingly gotten a *little bit* better. Though, on decel and braking I get real high negative LTFTs. I'm still battling with a bit of stand still to WOT knock. Part throttle, WOT, and everything in between I'm doing well with. Absolutely 0* of knock outside of a hard launch. I never knew that our 3.8s are unique in the way we fuel at WOT. V8s and 4.3 V6 have closed loop fueling during WOT. 3800s however, are stuck with open loop only shooting for our AFR @ WOT. Tha's nuts
